Programs
The San Diego North Educational Foundation is an organization dedicated to developing the business leaders of tomorrow.
Through the Foundation's mentorship/internship program, students are able to gain real world experiences at an early age, building character and a strong work ethic that will carry with them in their life pursuits.
The Foundation aspires to increase high school graduation rates by pairing even the most uninterested of students with a mentor and leader who is capable of inspiring youth, transitioning them from an unfocused student to a competent and confident leader.
Focusing on high school and college students, the mentorship/ internship program is designed to foster interest in students and introduce them to fields they may not have previously considered.
In addition to inspiring today's youth, the San Diego North Educational Foundation provides these opportunities for students who find that a four year college or university may not be the right fit for them.
It is the goal of the Foundation to help every student, no matter their pursuits, achieve their maximum potential.
College students will intern ten hours per week for a three month period. High school students will have the same period but only work four hours per week.
Through social skills development, mentorship/internship opportunities and career development, SDNEF is able to foster this growth and help students reach new heights.

Preparing for the Internship
Resume Writing
Each student who participates in the mentorship/internship program will be instructed by professionals in resume writing.
A student's resume is the first impression that most employers will have, even before the interview. The Educational Foundation will prepare each student for success prior to pairing them with a business.
